 Andre LaFosse (pronounced "ON-draye laugh-OSS") is a guitarist and chronic deconstructionist. His eclectic, obsessive experiments with gene-splicing his own musical DNA have won him acclaim, controversy, and more than a few puzzled looks from his listeners. He has played with and/or shared performance bills with David Torn, Michael Manring, Mike Keneally, Henry Kaiser, Todd Reynolds, Mike Einziger, Carl Stone, and many others. He's performed in venues ranging from dive bars, art galleries, and coffeshops to Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Knitting Factory, the American Composer's Forum, and a featured episode of WNYC Radio's “New Sounds” program. His unique concepts for live sampling and looping have contributed to the development of numerous electronic instruments. been used as a subject in multiple academic research projects, and have appeared as featured elements in the original scores to several Hollywood films. 

Lisa Edelman

Lisa has been a performer across North America and Europe, appearing as soloist and performing as an orchestral and chamber musician. In the US she has opened for/appeared with Stanley Clarke, Grover Washington Jr., Gregg Fields, Dennis Rowland, Peter Nero, Bobby Watson, the Philadelphia Orchestra Brass section and the New Century Players, to name a few. In Europe she has opened for the Royal Scottish Academy of Music's brass ensemble as well as Abbos, a visceral traditional music group from Uzbekistan. She has performed works by Morton Subotnick, Luciano Berio and HK Gruber, to name a few crucial works performed in her career. Lisa regularly emphasizes interdisciplinary work as well as freely improvised scenarios that explore human artistic boundaries and in turn, further them.

What sets Chuck apart from other drummers? Tastefulness. Regardless of the situation, he brings creativity and passion to any musical endeavor. Chuck is a versatile drummer citing sources as diverse as rock, pop, jazz, and world influences. He balances his obsession of time and versatility with a penchant for space and dynamics to give the music exactly what it calls for: a feather light touch or a violent backbeat or anything in between. Whether he’s recording, performing, writing, or producing, Chuck creates an inspired environment through flexibility and a constant flow of ideas. Sight reading in the studio or improvising on stage, behind a large kit, or just a snare and some brushes, at a computer or with a pencil and staff paper, Chuck delivers every performance with precision, undeniable groove, and of course, tastefulness.   

 

April Fletcher

April has indulged her interests in music, theatre and any other performing art that tickles her fancy. Starting out as a pianist and many years later switching to electric bass and exploring music from West African, Brazil, Cuba and eastern Europe along the way. In addition to her musical exploits with Epically Cracked, she is the touring bass player for the all-female Pop/R+B band Klymaxx. She has shared the stage with artists including Eveyln Champaigne King, Zapp, SOS Band and the Sugar Hill Gang performing sold-out audiences in venues including the Magness Arena and The Forum in Los Angeles. Her creative interests and career have also found her touring North America as a puppeteer, working behind the scenes and as a designer for hundreds of theatrical productions and dj-ing her own radio show.
